At Medihub, we stand by the quality of our products and support your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This page explains your warranty coverage, conditions, and how to make a claim.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure.
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- Repair or replacement if a product fails to be of acceptable quality and the issue does not amount to a major failure.
These rights exist in addition to any warranty we provide.
Medihub Warranty Coverage
In addition to your statutory rights, Medihub offers a 12-month warranty on all products used for private household use, starting from the date of purchase (unless stated otherwise).
Products used for commercial purposes qualify for a 3-month warranty period.
This warranty does not limit or restrict your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
What’s Not Covered
The Medihub warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, or natural disasters.
- Damage from operating equipment outside of the user instructions.
- Items that have been modified, altered, or tampered with by anyone not authorised by Medihub.
If an item has been serviced or altered by unauthorised personnel, the warranty will be considered void.
Parts, Accessories & Consumables
Parts, consumables, and accessories (such as batteries, wheels, cushions, hoses, blades, cables, safety gear, and similar items) are not covered by Medihub’s standard warranty once used.
If your part or consumable item arrives faulty from the manufacturer, please contact us before using the item so we can discuss a resolution.
Warranty Resolution Process
Until the nature of any fault is determined, the resolution offered may vary.
In some cases, the product may need to be returned for inspection.
If a product is unusable upon receiving or has a major fault, you may choose between:
- A full refund via the original payment method, or
- A replacement product.
For minor faults, Medihub may:
- Provide replacement parts, or
- Arrange repairs at no cost.
Other alternatives may be offered if both parties agree.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To claim a warranty, please follow the steps outlined in our Returns & Refunds section. Make sure to include proof of purchase and a brief description of the issue.
Excluded Use Cases
Warranties do not apply where items are resold or rented for profit.
